Issuing New Models Before They Are Properly Tested : Unforeseen Problems!

Not everyone thought it was ready for a test run but they went ahead anyway. They figured they still had the strings attached just in case there was a problem.

This model was very advanced but still not completely tested. They said it was tested and tested but they knew it had some bugs that defied even the best engineers. It was like today it worked great and then later it said and did stupid things apparently for no reason.

This newest model did things that engineers couldn't get a handle on. Still they wanted to take a chance.  The best way to solve some of the problems they thought was to put it out on stage and then work from there. They thought it was best to let it fail and then trying to fix it on site.

But even though the strings were still attached; the handlers couldn't react fast enough to keep it from unexplainably shutting down. Worse of course it had never done this before.

 Back to the drawing board!
