This is something that many of us down here in the trenches find it nearly impossible to understand. How is it that the smartest people in the room are so single minded?
And yet here we are watching four people on national television who head the most prestigious universities in the county say they don't see the concern about death and destruction of an entire civilization?
Isn't it all just academic?
