Captain Kirk is a leader of men and women but finds making certain decisions difficult. Apparently, he made a decision that might have been career altering if it happened on earth.
Humans are strange in that certain needs override puzzling questions concerning what is acceptable and what is seen as troubling in determining and coming to final a conclusion.
