There isn't a good time to own an electric car. The time may be becoming in the future, but right now it's a fraud forced on the general public by the people at the levers of power that want to manage your activities and limiting your ability to move around is just one of them.
To travel around the country is not in your best interest as the government finds it too difficult to control you if you decide to make a change in your life without approval!
