The founder understood the problem as the lived through what they knew was not what anyone wanted as a way of life, to be dominated by others that didn't know who they were or cared.
Much the same is happening again and the founders had to know it would. Human nature is the same and will never change. Some people just want to take what others have believing it is their right to do so!
