One must have a strong constitution for dealing with boredom and the cold dreary weather. The two things that make for long days with nothing to do other than to stay warm and read something interesting to keep your mind actively away from your surroundings!
There is essence no visuals and of course if you are prone to being seasick, the days become never ending!
The question that remains, why go in the winter? If you have to go, fly!!
