This is all nonsense. The masks, the social distancing and yet millions are willing to obey. They don't think about if there is a good reason for what they are doing is rational. How come? Are we so accustomed to obeying rules and regulation that when one comes long that will do us harm we can't recognize it as not in our best interest.
As the saying goes, "Once confronted with an insurgency, people wait too long before they recognize the danger, and then are paralyzed by it from action to stop it". It looks like we as a nation are headed in that direction.
