A Voice From The South Side of Chicago : We Won't Let It Happen to Us!

I don't know if this is true or not as it was sent as just an email to someone, but if true and I hope and pray it is, little wonder this wasn't covered in the media. The people, coming together as a group who have decided government is not the answer to all questions of security.

If we want the individual freedom to chose our own destiny, and the liberty to find prosperity, now it's time for us as citizens of this great nation to take action to preserve our national heritage.

This is an interesting email excerpt from a Chinese lady friend/former co worker of mine. She lives in Chinatown on the south side of Chicago...and "carries". Interesting nitty gritty of how things got handled.

"Got a little crazy down here after the Floyd shooting (sic).  We had a little problem with looting but most of it was 1/2 mile from my house.  Spent four nights making sure the neighborhood stayed safe.  There was no police for 4 days.  We were very lucky that our watch group is hooked up so we got notification when the shit was heading our way.  The Chinese came out strong and seriously armed.

Night 1 was the regular 10 guys.  Night 2 was all the watch group came out.  Me and another guy were monitoring scanners and posting people up in different areas.  Night 3 the Chinese gun club showed up with 40 cars.  There were armed people on EVERY corner in Chinatown.  I had to text my Italian neighbors to let them know the people outside my house 'belonged' there.  LOL They went out and brought them water HA HA HA.  By the fourth night we had over 100 people on the streets in Chinatown between the the watch, gun club, and the businesses bringing out their crews.  We (the American Born Chinese) were trying to keep these people under control, like you can't be open carry, umm no, you can't stop people.  Um, no you can be beat them if they start shit but don't shoot them.  HA HA HA But, it was vary calm in Chinatown.  People who drove through knew this was not the place to loot.

So basically, all the south/soutwest side neighborhoods did this.  Chinatown was the most civilized.  Bridgeport made the news being racist, Canaryville, Brigton Park, Midway, and the Mexican neighborhoods did the same.  The Latin Kings called a gang truce and all the Latino gangs took care of Pilsen and Little Village.  I never thought I'd see the day that everyone (including the cops) gave a nod to the gangs.  There was alot of firepower out on the streets.
