The vast majority of people, especially men who congregate to have a good time or just to associate with likeminded people in a civil society, believe having a beer is a good way to break the ice, so to speak, when they discuss the different local events that occur in their neighborhood or for that matter in the state or our great country.
Everyone has an opinion and the Constitutional right to that opinion, but each individual as well doesn't have to agree and can say so, hence the debate for what mattters in society.
After Bud Lite made their move on who should drink their beer, Anheuser Busch is now wondering why this took place in the first place and is having second thoughts; is their responsibility to the stockholders or is it to make a political and social statement.
It seems realistic to believe making a profit is the most important thing when selling a product to the general public or when the company is selling a product targeting a section of the country's inhabitants that believes being a man means having a belief in historical facts as laid out by God Himself.
