Know this, more then 40% of all energy production in this country is from coal and natural gas and will be for the foreseeable future. Wind and solar is less then 5% and is totally unreliable.
What this means is Americans will have to change how we live, forcing most of the middle class to become sequestered in small areas as travel will be limited and consumption of things other then food will out of their reach for the most part.
The intellectual socialists believe they are the final word on what is best for how we must live our lives. That our country will become subservient and dependent is of little concern as the brightest among us in Washington and the vaulted universities professors dictate laws and regulations based on assumptions and insight, not facts or experience.
But hey, millions must believe the progressive socialist intellectuals that brought us ObamaCare and other infectious and poisonous schemes, that seem to be willing to succumb to the will of others as they voted for the progressive democrats to increase the pain for all of us, twice.
Will the pain be enough that we are all suffering under from the boot of progressive socialist democrats on our necks, to vote out the perpetrators that brought our country to it's collective knees? I doubt it - too many people are ignorant, complacent or incapable of making rational decisions even when it means their own demise.
EPA Greenhouse Regulations Could Cost $50 Billion Annually

A new study from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce warns that the Obama administration's proposal to implement new limits on power plant emissions of greenhouse gases through Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations could cost $50 billion annually through 2030, reports The Hill.
The study comes ahead of the draft regulations that are the centerpiece of the president's climate change initiative. Approximately 40 percent of America's energy production comes from coal, an industry that is a major employer several states, including West Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming and Pennsylvania.
The EPA regulations would cut down on carbon emissions from power plants. But according to the Chamber of Commerce:
Vastly different results are expected from a forthcoming study by the Natural Resources Defense Council.

The EPA regulations would cut down on carbon emissions from power plants. But according to the Chamber of Commerce:
- Such regulations could reduce coal-fired energy capabilities by one-third nationally and could cost as many as 224,000 jobs annually through 2030.
- Consumers would pay an additional $289 billion for electricity and see their disposable incomes decline by $586 billion.
- While carbon emissions are expected to increase by a third globally over the same time period, the new EPA regulations would reduce national emissions by just 1.8 percent.
Vastly different results are expected from a forthcoming study by the Natural Resources Defense Council.
