It's accepted now as the new norm where the judicial system doesn't need the Constitution or any previously accepted rule of law to govern. Now it's whatever works to make sure the justice system is serving the right people who want and need more power for control.

Judges, prosecutors and juries are ready and willing to make decisions based on what they believe is in their personal best interest! They really believe they are doing their duty as described by the actual law. They truly have no idea or care what the law actually says, the narrative, agenda and ideology come first.
It's inbred and historical!
