It was never about leading the country to prosperity for the average citizen. It is now and always has been about getting and keeping the power for ultimate control of all outcomes.
But you know that when the power seekers have to attack a former president by raiding him home and stealing his positions, it becomes clear they have no intention of finding more freedom and liberty for the nation. They want to destroy anything that gives people the freedom of independent thought.
