It took the Roman Empire more the 500 years to fail, but it took only two weeks for the most powerful country on earth to succumb to a total collapse on the word of one man, a 36 year tenured government career bureaucrat no less, without a single shred of evidence, no first hand data or experience, that his decisions were founded on logistical and intelligent workable knowledge, with such wide spread impact and consequences, he was trusted to run the country in a crisis.
The man was not vetted for political affiliation or real actual knowledge of pandemics. Remember all of the other government departments and agencies that are totally corrupted but not the CDC or the NIH???
