One has to expect things like this when you are in the vastness of space and space travel at light speed! It stands to reason life is always a mystery, so expect the unexpected to happen and be prepared.
But this was so unexpected that the crew and the best linguists in the world were completely at their wits end trying to decipher what this strange being was trying to communicate to the known world!
