Promising something for nothing in return has always been a strategy of the progressive democrats to get votes, but the sad part is those that fall for this nonsense never see the fruits of their votes, the democrats never deliver, yet every election cycle they role out the same lie and every cycle they get the same results. Minimum wage. Another item on the President's income inequality agenda is to raise the minimum wage. Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) sponsored legislation that would raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 per hour. The legislation will bypass regular committee consideration and go straight to the Senate floor to avoid "embarrassing amendments" that the Republicans might offer.
