Progressives see no problem here as debt is a great way to force the population to their collective knees when our debt reaches more then the total we take in from all sources of revenue.
Of course by then it will be too late to do anything about it except pray you and your family survive without enough food or shelter. But don't worry too much, the progressives will just promise you they will take care of everything, just like the always do to get your vote and then never, never deliver on their promises.
This never seems to be a problem for the progressive socialist Democrats as there are always millions ready to do the bidding of anyone that will take care of them, that the promisor never does take care of the promise is of little importance, it's only that the promisor has made the effort to do the right thing.
And as the promisee lies in their cardboard box next to the hot air vent on main street to keep warm, they dream of what the next promise will be from the progressives to cure everyone's problem. If only all those ugly people that continually trying to stop the good people from trying to help all of us that have fallen on hard time. We just need a little more help then things will be better. The good people promised us they will help. Don't worry, better times are just around the corner.
Meanwhile, the cardboard box resident has to pay close attention to how his place in the soup line is secure, you had to promise the guy holding your place in line he would get your extra pair of flip flops for his efforts, is progressing so they don't miss todays serving menu.
