Progessives Attacking Coal Energy : Industry & Consumers Suffer

What a good idea on Mr Obama Part and the progressive socialist Democrats. As our entire economy depends on coal fired power plants, more then 39% of all of our energy comes form coal, it's reasonable that the Democrats would want to drive many industries and millions of people out of business and jobs.

It's the very basis of the progressive Democrat agenda for this country. drive as many people into dependency as possible to expand the voter base and ensure victory in future elections.

Why do people still vote for more Democrats? This isn't rocket science. If we want to save our country, vote out those that are destroying it. It seems so simple and yet when our very existence is threatened, the majority of the voters seem to want more Democrats in office to ensure the collapse of everything we have worked for all of our lives. Why?

What ever happened to common sense? Where did it go? Who stole it and replaced it with ignorance. Maybe it was just to much of a good thing for the past several decades that has destroy self reliance and pride in a job well done. Maybe It's easier to just let others do the work while millions of people sit back and wait for a positive outcome to come their way. The reality is, progressive Democrats are all about negative outcomes. Witness our economy today.

Go figure!

Obama to Block Construction of Coal Plants

The Obama administration plans to block the construction of new coal-fired power plants unless they are built with novel and expensive technology to capture greenhouse gas emissions, says the Wall Street Journal.
  • Tackling greenhouse gas emissions from power plants is at the heart of the climate plan that Obama announced in June, but it is politically controversial because coal remains the top fuel for power generation in the United States.
  • About 39 percent of electricity in the United States came from coal-fired plants in the first half of 2013.
The rule is also a crucial stepping-stone for the Obama administration's next big environmental project, emissions standards for the fleet of existing power plants. Obama has told the Environmental Protection Agency to produce those standards by June 2014.

Utilities and manufacturers also worry the new rules could lead to an electricity supply crunch or rising prices for consumers. While the new rule isn't final yet and is likely to face a legal challenge, it would be another blow to the coal industry.

I do not understand why we do not convert coal into gas. We need to beak the middle east hold. We could also export gas.
