America Today : Yesterdays Optimism Lost?

Where we are today and what happened back in the 'old' days, just several decades ago, seems to have been lost on the new generations. - Some reflections and thoughts on what is taking place in our country today.

It doesn't seem possible that many among us can't understand, or care to understand, what happened back then and that it will happen again and again. So much has changed, It's hard to keep up. It's extremely difficult to explain how things where in our country back in the 'old' days when optimism was the rule of the day, not fear of eminent disaster like it is today given the rampage insurgency of the progressive socialists.

So many live in a world of fantasy where all one has to do is believe things will happen to solve problems and then the problem will be solved. It's like the games they play on line, It's so easy to believe a positive fantasy but so hard to accept a negative reality. Progressive socialist teach you have no personal failures, you failed only due to the intervention of others.

Unfortunately many people in this part of the country still believe the new order of 'comprehensive diversity' and 'shared' responsibility will win the day, but what they don't understand is all the while as they hold hands and sing songs, our government is stealing our money and our freedoms.

To me it's the classical  'frog in the pot of water' syndrome before the heat is slowly added. But the scariest part is even when the heat finally does them in, they will not understand how it came to be. These people are not like the rest of us, they are different, perhaps genetically different.
