I find it extremely difficult to understand the thinking of Senate Republicans that voted for this new immigration bill.
It's like they are living in some place that has nothing to do with immigration, and the consequences of making poor decisions that are totally contrary to what the majority of the citizens want can be catastrophic for the country and for their reelection prospects. And yet, they voted for the bill.
Why is this so clear to me and why is it totally lost on so many in Congress? This bill makes on sense as so many that have read the bill, point out, where it goes wrong, and how the Senate Democrats are pulling the strings on the Republicans to make them dance to a tune of their making. And the Republicans can't see or understand what's happening?
To believe the Democrats will honor their commitments to this bill is Ludacris . Only a total fool believes Lucy will hold the foot ball for Charlie Brown to kick after so many years of pulling out at the last minute and Charles lands on his butt. This a perfect example of the Republicans year after year of wanted to reach across the isle for compromise. Is this the true definition of insanity?
More questions then answers - why don't we see progressive liberal Democrats reaching across the isle for compromise? dah!
Go figure!
