Here is a quick video of a Tesla's battery explodes splitting the car in half damaging several other cars and blowing parts far and wide. Pretty amazing stuff! Most of us would never believe a battery could explode or just how powerful it can be!
Remember the battery in a Tesla is huge, it's not like the battery in a fossil energy car.
