America On the Rise : Food Stamps to 50 Million?

This is the actual "fundamental" change Mr Obama want us all to believe in, whether we wanted to or not. Even worse is the huge increase in the claims on Social Security disability of more the 30% over the last 4 years.

What does it take of the 'low information' voter to understand that they are the target of the progressive socialist liberal Democrats? (PSLD) They have to understand, if they don't wake up in time to save themselves from total dependency and poverty, their fate will be sealed for at least a generation or more.

The most important thing to remember is elections have consequences, and our last chance to do something for our selves and our kids is in 2014. Take back the Senate and get super majorities in both houses.

What we have now in Washington is a 'Gangster Government' straight from Chicago. Never in the history of our country has our elected government designed and willing implemented the destruction of our way of life. I know, to understand this could happen in America is nearly impossible, but it true, it's happening now as we stand around texting our friends what happened last night at the party.

If you believe this isn't important, then go back to sleep, but when you do awaken, live with the consequences or worse.

Food Stamp Rolls in America Now Surpass the Population of Spain
February 11, 2013

(CNSNews.com) – Since taking office in 2009, food stamp rolls under President Barack Obama have risen to more than 47 million people in America, exceeding the population of Spain.

“Now is the time to act boldly and wisely – to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity,” said Obama during his first joint session address to Congress on Feb. 24, 2009. Since then, the number of participants enrolled in food stamps, known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), has risen substantially.

When Obama entered office in January 2009 there were 31,939,110 Americans receiving food stamps. As of November 2012—the most recent data available—there were 47,692,896 Americans enrolled, an increase of 49.3 percent.

According to the 2011 census, Spain had a population of 46,815,916.
Furthermore, between January 2009 and November 2012 the food stamp program added approximately an average 11,269 recipients per day.
