Farm Bill of One Trillon - 80% is Food Stamps

The question that I have is what is going on with the farm bill? When one looks close to see that the bill actually spends it's money on, it's not farming, it's on welfare. Did you know that nearly 1 trillion dollars that the farm bill will spend in the next 10 years, 80% will go for food stamps?

In 2008, the SNAP program, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, was the war on poverty, was introduced to avoid the stigma of getting a hand out.

From 2001 to 2006, the amount spent doubled, and by 2013, it will triple. This means 46.6 million people will be receiving food stamps. But wait, 10 years ago 12% of the population lived below the poverty level and now it over 15%. The population that is now in poverty rose 25%, but the spending for assistance grew 400%. What in the world is going on here?

Is this the progressive socialist agenda building a voter base of dependent individuals? Trillions more in debt and unemployment still over 8%, the real (U6) unemployment is more then 11%, is a sure sign that things are getting worse after 4 years of Obama's army of liberal progressive socialists.

It has become clear that the entire administration of Mr Obama is no more then smoke and mirrors. They have no intention of making public their true intentions of changing the country into a socialist democracy like most of Europe.

Remember what Mr Obama said in 2008 when he accepted the nomination for president, " we are on the threshold of fundamentally changing America". Can you see how he is doing just that? Are we awake to the impending catastrophe that is coming to engulf every aspect of our lives in just a few weeks if Mr Obama is reelected?

Just a few weeks ago he stated in a speech 'that the next four years will be even harder then the past years as my plan to transform the failed policies that got into mess could not be fixed in just four years'. 'What will be required is more spending to help the middle class find jobs'. Understand, the federal reserve is printing more money right now, 40 billion every month, to shore up the sinking economy. Is this being done just before the election to mask economic failure of the progressives policies?

What is this all about? What happened to the first 5.5 trillion spending nightmare and unemployment still at 11% and 24 million people still out of work? Why would anyone still believe Mr Obama has out best interests, as a country, at heart?

In truth, it has nothing to do with out best interests, it's about bringing this country down to it's collective knees as punishment for past sins against the world, for our audacity of believe we are blessed with a spirit of freedom to rise above our station in life through hard work and dedication to the principles laid out in Constitution.

Mr Obama has stated many times that he believes the Constitution, as written, is not what he believes is best for the our country, he believes that where the Constitution states the government is 'limited' to what is can do, Mr Obama believes it should say what it 'can' do for the people.

This is his 'fundamental' change for all of us. A huge over reaching government that will produce all things for all people, guided and implemented by a select few in Washington that are wiser and better equipped to know what is best for everyone.

Believe this is the agenda that is being implemented right now and the most obvious instrument of this fundamental change is ObamaCare. Another example is the power that the EPA has and is using to completely change our energy production which effects all aspects of our lives, our private and industrial lives. What ObamaCare doesn't effect, the EPA will do the rest.

There is so much more to say here but I will end this with a wish for you to think long and hard about what the country means and how you believe it will turn out if Mr Obama is reelected. The window of opportunity is wide open for us to save the country this November for our selves and our children or let it slide into a socialist oblivion.
