Fooling millions isn't that difficult especially when living conditions are good and easy for the most part even with democraaat at the levers of power that is crushing prosperity.
Capitalism works too well allowing many to escape the riggers of making hard decisions on their immediate futures as condition to making sure there is meal on the table is difficult sometimes but somehow doable.
Many countries do not that option.
