Seattle $15 Minimum Wage Workers Want More : Now Less Hours As Well

Yeah, I checked this on Snoops but found nothing that says it true, only it might be only anecdotal.  I wonder why? Snoops has a tendency to keep anything controversial that brings progressive socialist liberals into a bad light and that questions their behavior.

And again I don't care who wrote this, I agree with the notion the progressive socialist liberal democrats have no intention of joining the American dream of self sufficiency and the pride of a job well done. It is truly about a weakness of their personalities to achieve a goal, any goal that requires initiative and perseverance. It's in their DNA. It's a curse that drives them to destruction.

Still, this all makes good sense then, especially in a town like Seattle that harbors hordes of progressives liberals that are leaches on civil society, and that they had no intention of earning a living by the sweat of their collective brows when they demanded and got a minimum wage that will allow them to raise their standard of living without raising the efforts to earn it.

But mark my words, it won't be long until the new minimum wage of $15/hours will not meet their new needs and wants as they have acquired a new life style that demands more money to advance further up the ladder of society. It will only be a matter of time until they hit the streets again demanding more money and do even less, if that possible, to earn it.

Of course, the major obstacle to their collective bargaining technique will be there won't be any jobs left to demand more money from. All that will left is the taxpayer to support them in there new life style. And if the taxpayer balks at this, they will riot and burn the city down. That will show the city fathers they mean business. How cool is that?

Are you amazed or puzzled? You shouldn't be, it's the ''new wave'' morality of leveling the playing field. It's the philosophy of the ever growing menace of progressives seeing the rich have all that money and they don't, and therefore we want what they have regardless of how they got it. Know to, the agenda and ideology of the progressive socialist liberal is to take from the productive and give to the unproductive, therefore making life more comparable and fair. It just has to be about what's fair. Right?

Marx said it best, and the basic philological ideology of the progressive liberal, ''To each according to their needs and From each according to their abilities''.

Sleepless in Seattle ( or America Transformed)

Seattle employees ask for REDUCED hours so that "jacked-up" minimum wage won't cost them subsidized housing:  Gee, who could have seen this coming...?

Now this is downright funny. They scream for a higher minimum wage, then, when they get it they complain because they make too much money to qualify for the free stuff, go figure.  By jacking up minimum wage, Seattle has provided a valuable lesson in liberal economics. The plan has now backfired.

Nora Gibson, executive director of Full Life Care, told Seattle 's KIRO 7 TV she saw a sudden reaction from workers when Seattle's phased minimum-wage ordinance took effect in April,
bringing minimum wage to $11 an hour. She said anecdotally, some people feared they would lose their subsidized housing so they have asked that their work hours be reduced to remain eligible for all government subsidies.

It doesn't stop at $11/hour. The law puts it up to $15 starting January 1, 2017, they will have to reduce their work hours even more to remain eligible for handouts. Good thing the minimum
wage wasn't raised even higher, most would not work at all, they prefer to be spoon fed and remain on the government plantation.

So now workers work fewer hours, but for the same take home pay, business' labor costs increase so prices increase, buyers (workers) pay more and no one is better off.

Remember free market capitalism? Under that system, the harder and smarter you worked, the higher your standard of living. But that was found to result in income inequality, so now we have a
system where wealth is bestowed by bureaucrats, and working harder doesn't always make sense.

Just a little bit at a time until America is gone, and turns into Venezuela.........
