Innovation - innovate, innovate. One good thing that the unions have accomplished is to force industries that depend on laborers is the innovations to eliminate the worker that demands more money and less work.
Of course this is not good the workers that see labor as a means to achieve success and therefore take pride in self accomplishments. Unions have a tendency to remove pride from work, and as a result, are losing the battle and rightly so. McDonalds workers, and others industries, want $15 dollars an hour? The workers and these industries are doomed.
In the end, as machines take over more and more jobs, the question that remains is what is left for the person that wants to be better then he is, and to do something other then a dependent with no goals or future?
