What we have
here is a Conservative trying to explain to progressive liberal Democrats the
basic issues involved in free markets and individual freedom that are laid out
in our Constitution. This is a class of people that had lost their way when other peoples money ran out.
They had to
be started at the very beginning of basic thought processes. But many could not grasp some of these
new ideas in which case they had to be turned away as hopelessly wasted
individuals with no ability to learn new concepts or have any redeeming aptitudes
that would change their lives.
They apparently had lost all hope for the
future. If someone wasn’t there to decide what they should do next, how could they get or do the things
they needed to enrich their lives?
It’s sad that life could be reduced to waiting for others to tell you how your life will turn out.
