Interesting to note, while the people in Washington that are rapeing the country of it's very soul are leave town or staying home because the weather isn't exactly to their liking, the honor guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier does not have a choice about their duty to honor and country. Where as for the brightest and smartest among us that control all of our lives with a stroke of a pen, we all can see their philosophy for life is 'take the money and run' which the politicians have been doing for generations, leaving the rest of us having to pay for them living the good life.
But our military doesn't have the same options that the politicians have, the men and women that service our country have a sense of duty and love for our country.
That some politicians see the military, for the most part, as a waste of money that they could be stealing for themselves and their friends, tells a tail of malfeasance and ignorance bread from a history of failure in Washington to govern with any sense of honor that is demanded by our Constitution.
This November when it comes time to vote, think about this man in the snow and cold and who in Washington believes he deserves to be honored, and who in Washington thinks he is a waste of taxpayer dollars.
