Sharyl Attkisson Fired @ CBS : Truth A Lost Cause @ CBS

WOW - CBS decides that the one good apple in the basket of rotten ones has to go - after all how will it look to those sitting in the front pew of the church of liberalism, swilling the kool Aid, to see something that challenges the narrative of progressivism socialism? I wonder if she will find a home at FOX NEWS?

Sharyl Attkisson, the only mainstream media investigative journalist to doggedly pursue the Obama administration's various scandals and blunders, resigned from CBS on Monday to pursue other endeavors.

 

POLITICO reports:

 

Attkisson, who has been with CBS News for two decades, had grown frustrated with what she saw as the network’s liberal bias, an outsize influence by the network’s corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting, several sources said. She increasingly felt that her work was no longer supported and that it was a struggle to get her reporting on air.

 

At the same time, Attkisson’s reporting on the Obama administration, which some staffers characterized as agenda-driven, had led network executives to doubt the impartiality of her reporting. She is currently at work on a book — tentatively titled "Stonewalled: One Reporter’s Fight for Truth in Obama’s Washington" — that addresses the challenges of reporting critically on the administration.

 

It is unfortunate to see Attkisson leave CBS - but she isn't done. We're looking forward to seeing Attkisson continue to pursue the truth at a new venture that supports her work and sees value in investigating the Obama administration.
