America On the Edge : People Asleep at The Wheel?
'A word to the wise should be sufficient'. This certainty sheds some light on how our government is ruling with fear and intimidation as the likes of the IRS and the DOJ attack those that oppose the ruling elites.
But some thought should be given to just who the whistle blowers are, heroes or villains, and what is their true intentions. And comparing water boarding and sleep deprivation to gain information on those that want to kill us to the Holocaust is out of the realm of reality.
Still, it seems our government is taking steps to bring the population under it's control by a willingness of those that are not involved in working to find a place of security of their own, instead they find it easier to succumb to others dictating outcomes. And once the number of those accepting dependence and poverty as inevitable grows larger then those that fear the loss of individual freedom, all will be lost.
Unfortunately we are approaching that outer limit of those that believe American exceptionalism is not a path to success. There belief that America will always survive no matter the situation is not reality, it's fantasy. Again, remember he frog in the pot of water?
So put down the IPhone, take out the ear buds, turn off the IPad and lift your head to look around. What you will find is you are up to your neck in a pool of progressive socialist corruption. Falling asleep at the wheel now foretells disaster for our country.
(Success Council)
The inscription above reads: "Work Makes You Free." That is a complete lie. Most likely, if you were at Dachau during WWII, you were there to die.
I have been to Dachau before, but this time there are a few things that really hit home, that I would like to share:
#1 - The Local People Knew
For those of you that haven't been to Dachau, its walls are right next to the village of Dachau, where people worked, played with their children, and went about their days during the Holocaust. These people saw the loads of walking skeletons and dead bodies being trained into the camp.
They did nothing.
In fact, some townspeople even used "free" (slave) labor for their local businesses. The lesson here is that when you de-humanize a group of people, as the Nazi propaganda successfully did, it is much easier to allow horrible things to happen to those people.
This is as true for the local Dachau, Germans as it is for us, as mainstream media tries to de-humanize entire populations in foreign countries. Remember this lesson - these are people, breathing, walking and eating…just like you.
Do not let our government-run media make them anything less.
#2 - The Power Came From The People
While the Gestapo were known for torture and horrible interrogations (sound familiar?) they had VERY little power without the help of snitches and common people. Neighbors ratted out each other at every opportunity to gain "favor" with the government. This is exactly what Hitler wanted. It bred fear and silence.
It is important to remember that we need to speak up and protect our freedoms, and not let our voices be silenced, even when the government is collecting data and recording our conversations.
We cannot let their actions create fear and silence us.
#3 - I Am Not Doing Enough
As I left the camp, I thought to myself, "How could people let this happen?" And then…I was angry, at myself. I realized that at the same time I was passing judgment, I was letting my own government (or at least the one I pay taxes to) do horrible things.
I thought of Edward Snowden, Bradly Manning and Julian Assange. These people stood up for what they believed in, trying to shed light on crimes... and it cost them everything.
What am I doing?
Not Enough.
