Big Government Loves Everyone : Tyranny or Benevolence?

How long do you think it will take for the general public to understand we are in real trouble? How long will it take for individuals to take a few minutes out of their busy lives to understand America is not the country it used to be? Mr Obama, 'progressive socialists are just common sense folks'.

How long do you think it will take for citizens to finally look up from their IPhones and wonder why the world that they knew before buying their first IPhone isn't the one they see now? Worse maybe, how many even recognize that there is a difference? Mr Obama said ' some think an over reaching government is tyranny, don't believe that'.

Is benevolence a much better term for an over reaching government then tyranny? Sure, just ask any progressive socialist liberal.

For anyone that has been awake during the last four and half years knows America has changed. To finally see and understand this concept that our country is never going to be the same as it was just 5 years ago escapes the consciousness of the guy and gal on the street hustling to make a living.

For those of us that remember growing up in America where we accepted security of everyday life guaranteed by our government, which we trusted to do what the Constitution said it should for the citizens, has now become more then just our government, but our benefactor, our master.

Do you fear becoming just a number on a sheet of paper, digitized, scrutinized and sanitized? Do you fear at all that if you don't like this you have no recourse? Do you fear if you speak your mind you will become any enemy of the state, IRS attacking the Tea Party, which will demand you reform or be reeducated? Tyranny of big government? Nah - were just here to help.

Maybe it 's easier  'to get along, go along'. "What difference does it make anyway", individual freedom, according to Mr Obama is "just words".

Obama: 'We Don't Want to Tax All Businesses Out of Business'
By Elizabeth Harrington
(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama says Democrats "don't want to tax all businesses out of business."
"I know that there are a few Republicans here in the audience," Obama said Friday at a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign in Palo Alto, Ca. "If you talk to us, it turns out we're pretty common-sense folks.

"We don't think government can do everything," he said.  "We don't think that top-down solutions are the right way to go.  We believe in the free market.  We believe in a light touch when it comes to regulations."
"We don't want to tax all businesses out of business," Obama said.  "But we do think that there's a role to play for government."

The president's remarks came at a private residence during a fundraising tour last week for the 2014 midterm elections. Obama has made similar statements in the past. When speaking about implementing a cap and trade system when running for president in 2008, Obama said he would bankrupt coal power plants.
The coal industry "would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted-down caps that are being placed, imposed every year," he said. "So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted," Obama said.

During the 2012 election campaign, Obama also drew criticism for a speech where he said, "If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen."
