What exactly do the progressive socialist democrats have to run on? These people are like King Midas in reverse, everything they touch turns to lead, failure. And yet the progressives attack the Republicans and Conservatives with hate and vitriol for having a moral responsible budget that seeks to help the nation.
Why would the progressive democrats do this? Why, in the face of disasters on all fronts in our country, would the democrat voters continue to support the same policies that have driven our country into decline and caused strife around the world?
Given that the democrats have had six years to make our country better, controlling the Senate and the presidency and spending us more then $7 trillion dollars deeper into debt, but in fact have made our country far worse then when they took over in 2008.
The question remains, given all of the failures of the progressive socialist democrats, why would anyone vote for them again, ever? Why is this so clear and easy to understand for those of us that worry about our country being damaged beyond repair, but lost on so many others that seem not to care what happens to the country? Survival depends on clear and rational thinking.
If we're serious about turning the country back to prosperity for everyone, voting for more democrats will only seal our fate for generations to come as a diminished country with only passed glories of freedom and prosperity to tell our children.
To dramatic? Maybe, but passed history tells a different story then what we are getting from the media that is fully invested with the democrats in turning the country away from what the founding father saw for our future, and what the Constitution lays out for all of us to see and understand about our rights to personal freedom and liberty. The ideology of socialism has nothing to do with freedom or liberty.
This November, it's time to chose.
Dems Hope Ryan Budget Will Bail Them Out in 2014
Democrats are counting on one specific congressman to help them dig out of the hole they will likely find themselves in this November – Paul Ryan.
Vice President Joe Biden is the latest Democrat to take a swipe at Ryan’s budget, telling an audience at George Washington University Monday that Ryan’s plan would cut taxes for the wealthy, spending on roads and port construction, Medicaid, medical research and grants to local law enforcement.
Biden is the highest-profile name to follow the lead of Rep. Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) who said earlier this month he thinks the release of the new Ryan budget could help change the narrative in his party’s favor.
"It’s a tough climate for us right now, but I believe that this Republican budget helps change the narrative by reminding voters who’s got their backs,’’ Israel said. "They should have just printed a middle finger to the middle class on page one of this budget; that is how this budget treats middle class families.’’
Just a day after Ryan’s budget was released, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) launched a campaign called "Battleground: Middle Class" in order to run advertisements attacking Republican budget proposals, mostly concerning Medicare and Medicaid. The DCCC is also circulating a petition to try and get a million signatures rejecting the Ryan budget.
This is not much different from the left’s attacks against Ryan and his budget proposals during the 2012 election, when Israel called Ryan the Democrat’s "money maker" for helping them stir up talking points to help fundraising. Liberal talking points slamming Ryan went so far as one group releasing an ad depicting the Wisconsin Republican throwing an elderly woman off a cliff – a sensationalist way to view his Medicare proposals.
The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll showed Democrats with a slim, one-point lead in the generic congressional ballot, but recent Rasmussen and FOX News polls have Republicans with two and three-point leads, respectively. The same ABC News/Washington Post poll showed just 41 percent approving of President Barack Obama and 55 percent disapproving, making for a 14-point negative spread.
Unfortunately for Democrats, current projections suggest the 2014 voting electorate will look more the like 2010 than 2012.
