National Debt Foretells Financial Failure : Ryan's Budget for Prosperity?

Paul Ryan's budget was just a signal for nearly everyone in Washington to start digging the trenches and sand bagging the door. For a politician to willingly accept change that will take away some of their power of the purse has to be one of the hardest things they will ever do.

And as a result of someone actually proposing a change of how we finance the country, the ideology of the controlling party, the progressive socialist democrats, will block any chance for Ryan's bill to pass.

Security is in the familiar and party power then the overriding influence in your life, when your vested interests are under attack, you will do what it takes to protect yourself, which means voting against change and demonizing those that believe otherwise.

If doing nothing means the country will fail is of no concern, the true politician always believes that will be a problem for others at a later date. Sadly it's the 'take the money and run' mentality that prevails in Washington today.

National Center for Policy Analysis -
Ryan budget ("Path to Prosperity"). House Budget Committee Paul Ryan (R-WI) proposed a fiscal year 2015 budget this week. It is the only budget that balances within 10 years. The President's budget never balances, and the Senate opted not to write a budget this year. The Ryan budget includes many of the same reforms from his previous budgets, drawing fire from liberals who worry about cuts to welfare and entitlement programs. For example, the Ryan budget includes his familiar proposal to convert Medicare to a premium support program for Americans 55 and younger. The Ryan plan also drew fire from some tea party voices, notably Sarah Palin, for not cutting enough. The House is almost certain to pass the Ryan budget, while the Senate is almost certain to ignore it. Look for Ryan's budget to come up during this year's campaign season.
