Citizens respond to Texas knife assailant wounding 14 at a local college. 'What's next - 14 people stabbed and wounded with a knife? I thought all knives were under the control of the police - maybe what we need is stricter knife laws? What in the world are we going to do to stop this insanity? Who needs a knife big enough to do harm anyway?'
A very smart, well educated individual, smarter then most anyone anywhere, takes up the question from the perspective of progressive socialist elites in Washington and proposes a logical solution -
'I agree completely, only I believe we should go one step further - from now on all sales of knives must be reported to the police along with registration forms, AND when the sale is complete, the customer is escorted to their place or residence by the police, and then have police tear the house of pieces looking for illegal knives that aren't properly registered. This worked great for gun control.
'Consequently, any such weapons that are found at the residence, that are not properly identified, the resident will then be taken out back of said residence and beaten about the head and shoulders with night sticks. Once this service is performed by dully appointed officials of the local freely elected and smarter then just about anybody on the planet, progressive socialist Democrats, the resident must be retained behind bars at city hall until such a time as the same officials that administered justice at the residence, have a opportunity to speak further with them, in the basement of city hall, to ascertain just what they were planning to do with the said unregistered weapons found in their kitchen. Chopping food is the lamest excuse anyone can use in cases like this, and will only result in further discussions in the basement.
'According to the absolutely the smartest dully elected person in the room, and at city hall, "This isn't something that we here at city hall enjoy, far from it, but to stop indiscriminate use of knives among the general public, we believe serious steps must be taken by trained officials that know what's best, and are trained by experts to protect the general public from uncontrolled individuals and sometimes the citizen themselves.
"Really, if the truth be known, most individual citizens are not very smart, stupid for the most part, and therefore why we, as dully elected leaders, and I shamelessly admit smarter then most average citizens, carry out our assigned duties to protect and serve like we do. Hey I know some people find our technique offensive, but they voted us in again on election day, so we must be doing something right"
