Actually, the entire world turns on doing the right thing in the time of need. The question now here for inquiring minds is, what if the ''Good Samaritan'' had a second agenda running that left the inured man along side the road while the Samaritan tried to figure out how he could take advantage of this guy, making him the cause and not the victim.
The real perpetrators, the thieves, will take notice and next time the Samaritan passes by he will get a free pass. It just makes good sense as the man on the ground was in bad shape and would cost a fortune at a near by infirmary to make him better.
Besides, the Samaritan has many obligations to attend to in the next city. As the saying goes, ''Money talks and beat-up guys get screwed''!
