It does seem strange that European countries want to remain ''also rans'' in the conflicts that concerns them directly.
A nuclear armed Iran will dominate all of Europe!
Can it be that they still haven't seen the light of the new and more stringent policy of taking more responsibility for their own NATO countries must take care of their own people's need and security by becoming involved in their own welfare for survival by taking steps against the aggressors who want to do them harm by taking what the have by force.
It seems as well this is a pattern in Europe over the past several decades if not centuries, where Europe was letting others do the heavy lifting while they sit back sipping chardonnay!
With Donald Trump, that is not an option!
