Barry never understood what is like not having the power to make people do things they don't want to do even after his third term with Joe as his best puppet.
He watched the collapse of his acolytes running his programs from the sidelines while pulling of the attached strings in his hands to make them jump to his toons.
Of course, all that ended last November when the ground under him shifted and crumbled.
