I strongly believe the liberal Democrats believe that they have the power to do anything they want no matter how bad or destructive, and that no matter how they screw things up there will always be someone to come along and fix their mess.
And when the mess is fixed, by the conservatives of course, which always takes decades, the people, now fat and sassy and notorious short memories, will be enamored with the liberal lie of " better times are coming when you put us back into office". As we all know, the cycle of greed and national theft will start all over again.
