Video - Doctor Shortage Coming With ObamaCare

Little wonder with some 66 million new patients demanding care from a static or diminishing number of doctors that our quality of heath care will will begin to fail everyone.

Also given some doctors are opting to not continue in the trade as the paper work and the liability costs can only get worse, over head is still the most restrictive aspect of the profession, the number of new doctors coming on line in this environment will determine whether the system works at all or will ultimately collapse under the weight of new government involvement, regulation and the demands of millions of new people in the system.

If you think we can make this new system work for everyone getting the same care from a diminishing number of care givers that have no reason to 'care' anymore, then I have a bridge that I want to sell you.

Policy analysts are hammering President Barack Obama's drive for healthcare reform, citing the massive $1 trillion price tag of his plan as well as the very real likelihood that America will be confronted with a disastrous doctor shortage.

According to a Newsmax.TV Special Report on the healthcare debate, critics are wondering where America's healthcare system will get the doctors for tens of millions of new patients, while others are fearful that the government will turn physicians into servants of the state.

“There aren't going to be any doctors around – doctors are going to bail out,” says Kathryn Serkes of the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons. “You may have an insurance policy from the government, you may have a piece of paper, but you won't be able to get an appointment or get into a hospital and get an actual doctor to take care of you.”
