New Climat Change Report : More Debauchery of The Truth

PhotoFirst of all, I believe in climate change as I am living it here in Midwest. I see and feel it all year long. The climate does indeed change.

But is it because my neighbors and me are responsible for this change in the weather? It's clearly a debauchery of common sense.

This change in the weather from one season to the next has been happening ever since the planet became to cool. And having ''scientists'' proclaim that they have computer model that can predict what the weather will be like in more then 80 years is insane. The weather forecasters are wrong most of the time predicting the weather for tomorrow!

And then of course it's the history of all the bad things that will happen if we don't fork over $billions more of tax dollar to researchers to find ways to stop catastrophic man-made climate change.

Over the last thirty years or more, the predictions of doom never came to pass. Not one. But no matter, they say they need more money every year to keep the search going or we all die.

So why believe this report from people whose single task in life is to take control of the populations options for becoming resourceful and independent. The entire agenda is to limit a persons ability to become prosperous. Prosperity breeds independence of thought which is a killer for lies and deception.

In truth, it is only about the power to control outcomes and nothing more, and at the same time make them, the  disciples of climate change all rich. No? Al Gore is a  multimillionaire and he accumulated it all on deception and outright lies.

4 Problems With the New Climate Change Report
Nicolas Loris / /

If you’re like me, you’re happy the White House released the latest version of the National Climate Assessment on Black Friday. Publishing the 1,700-page report the day after Thanksgiving saved me from unwanted dinner conversations about our planet’s impending climate doom.

But if your aunt calls you up this week spouting claims of mass deaths, global food shortages, economic destruction, and national security risks resulting from climate change, here’s what you need to know about this report.

1. It wildly exaggerates economic costs.

One statistic that media outlets have seized upon is that the worst climate scenario could cost the U.S. 10 percent of its gross domestic product by 2100. The 10 percent loss projection is more than twice the percentage that was lost during the Great Recession.

The study, funded in part by climate warrior Tom Steyer’s organization, calculates these costs on the assumption that the world will be 15 degrees Fahrenheit warmer. That temperature projection is even higher than the worst-case scenario predicted by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. In other words, it is completely unrealistic.

2. It assumes the most extreme (and least likely)climate scenario.

The scary projections in the National Climate Assessment rely on a theoretical climate trajectory that is known as Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5. In estimating impacts on climate change, climatologists use four representative such trajectories to project different greenhouse gas concentrations.

To put it plainly, Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 assumes a combination of bad factors that are not likely to all coincide. It assumes “the fastest population growth (a doubling of Earth’s population to 12 billion), the lowest rate of technology development, slow GDP growth, a massive increase in world poverty, plus high energy use and emissions.”

Despite what the National Climate Assessment says, Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 is not a likely scenario. It estimates nearly impossible levels of coal consumption, fails to take into account the massive increase in natural gas production from the shale revolution, and ignores technological innovations that continue to occur in nuclear and renewable technologies.

When taking a more realistic view of the future of conventional fuel use and increased greenhouse gas emissions, the doomsday scenarios vanish. Climatologist Judith Curry recently wrote, “Many ‘catastrophic’ impacts of climate change don’t really kick at the lower CO2 concentrations, and [Representative Concentration Pathway] then becomes useful as a ‘scare’ tactic.”

3. It cherry-picks science on extreme weather and misrepresents timelines and causality.

A central feature of the National Climate Assessment is that the costs of climate are here now, and they are only going to get worse. We’re going to see more hurricanes and floods. Global warming has worsened heat waves and wildfires.

But last year’s National Climate Assessment on extreme weather tells a different story. As University of Colorado Boulder professor Roger Pielke Jr. pointed out in a Twitter thread in August 2017, there were no increases in drought, no increases in frequency or magnitude of floods, no trends in frequency or intensity of hurricanes, and “low confidence for a detectable human climate change contribution in the Western United States based on existing studies.”

It’s hard to imagine all of that could be flipped on its head in a matter of a year.

Another sleight of hand in the National Climate Assessment is where certain graph timelines begin and end. For example, the framing of heat wave data from the 1960s to today makes it appear that there have been more heat waves in recent years. Framing wildfire data from 1985 until today makes it appear as though wildfires have been increasing in number.

But going back further tells a different story on both counts, as Pielke Jr. has explained in testimony.

Moreover, correlation is not causality. Western wildfires have been particularly bad over the past decade, but it’s hard to say to what extent these are directly owing to hotter and drier temperatures. It’s even more difficult to pin down how much man-made warming is to blame.

Yet the narrative of the National Climate Assessment is that climate change is directly responsible for the increase in economic and environmental destruction of western wildfires. Dismissing the complexity of factors that contribute to a changing climate and how they affect certain areas of the country is irresponsible.

4. Energy taxes are a costly non-solution.

The National Climate Assessment stresses that this report “was created to inform policy-makers and makes no specific recommendations on how to remedy the problem.” Yet the takeaway was clear: The costs pf action (10 percent of America’s GDP) dwarf the costs of any climate policy.

The reality, however, is that policies endorsed to combat climate change would carry significant costs and would do nothing to mitigate warming, even if there were a looming catastrophe like the National Climate Association says.

Just last month, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change proposed a carbon tax of between $135 and $5,500 by the year 2030. An energy tax of that magnitude would bankrupt families and businesses, and undoubtedly catapult the world into economic despair.

These policies would simply divert resources away from more valuable use, such as investing in more robust infrastructure to protect against natural disasters or investing in new technologies that make Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 even more of an afterthought than it already should be.

The Trump administration is coming under criticism for publishing the report on Black Friday. To the extent that was a conscious strategy, it certainly isn’t a new tactic. The Obama administration had frequent Friday night document dumps in responding to congressional inquiries about Solyndra and the Department of Energy’s taxpayer-funded failures in the loan portfolio. The Environmental Protection Agency even released its Tier 3 gas regulations, which increased the price at the pump, on Good Friday.

No matter what party is in charge, the opposite party will complain about their burying the story. Regardless, the American public would be better served by enjoying the holiday season and shopping, rather than worrying about an alarmist report.

democrats Have A Firewall From Responsibility : The Media And Gullible Voters

democrats run only white guys for president? Will this be a problem explaining the agenda and ideology of ''white man supremacy''? Nah - The democrats have a fire wall to protect them, the media and the gullibly ill-informed, misinformed, and maybe just plain stupid voting public that sees on evil and hears no evil. gullible

Republicans Rule The Senate : From Under Their Desks?

Republicans rule in the Senate but how will that work if they
won't come from under their desks?

Now all that is required to make a difference in making America great again is Republicans  coming out from under the desks and actually taking a stand on principle. But rest assured that probably won't happen.

Republicans are distended to be second class citizens. They can't find the need or the guts to rule. They are most comfortable at being the opposition. Taking the responsibility to lead is something to drastic and objectionable to handle.

Oh and bad-mouthing the president, Donald Trump is okay for Republicans. They like that as democrats approve of that.

On the other hand, the progressive socialsit liberal democrats have no problem at ruling as they don't have any restrictions on what they do or say. There are no laws of ethics or morality involved to hold them in check.

The entire collative of democrats is ruled by the ''by any means necessary'' agenda. There are no limits and there are no rules.

Take and destroy rules the collective. And a near majority of the population is okay with that.

California Wild Fires Burns Everything : The Ruling Class Drinks Wine!

Photo
Environmental ideological criminal corruption.

Unfortunately this author seems to be giving the governor of California and the environmentalists that dictate land-mass laws and regulations a pass even when he, Cliff Mass says the governor is wrong on his insisting climate change is to blame for these catastrophic fires.

And yet who is responsible when things go bad on a continuing basis like wild fires? Who is in charge? Anybody?

Why hasn't the California ruling class of legislators stepped forward with ideas on how to stem such horrible events like these fires from happening so often? They haven't done anything constructive for decades or even generations in the way of prevention or even having debates on what steps to take in fire prevention.

Who is responsible here for taking steps for prevention? Apparently it's just enough to blame others and then hold out their collective hands for the tax payers to cover the negligence and corruption in he ruling class.

Hey, it is a one party state, so assessing who to blame, who is responsible shouldn't be rocket science.

Rest assured, as long as the current ruling class is in charge, nothing will be done to stop the fires from happening again. It's just who they are and always have been. 'Take the money and run' rules the day.

Climate Scientist Says Global Warming Not Among the ‘Real Problems’ Behind California Wildfires
Michael Bastasch / /

Despite what Democratic California Gov. Jerry Brown and environmentalists say, man-made global warming is not a big factor in the wildfires raging across California, according to a veteran climate scientist.

University of Washington climate scientist Cliff Mass, no skeptic of global warming, said blaming California’s deadliest wildfire on a changing climate “has little grounding in fact or science. “Global warming is a profoundly serious threat to mankind, but it has little impact [on] the Camp Fire and many of the coastal California fires of the past few years,” Mass wrote on his blog Tuesday.

“And blaming global warming takes attention away from the actions needed to prevent such tragedies from happening again,” Mass wrote.

The Camp Fire consumed more than 150,000 acres of Northern California, destroying more than 10,000 buildings and taking at least 79 lives. Down south, the 98,000-acre Woolsey Fire engulfed thousands more buildings and took at least two lives.

Large wildfires seem to have increased in frequency in some parts of the state, and the devastating Camp Fire reignited the debate over the role global warming has in all of it.

Brown said in a press conference earlier in November that “those who deny” global warming were contributing to the fires. While he recognized forest management was important, Brown said it “does not stop climate change.” “The chickens are coming home to roost. This is real here,” Brown said.

“It is more than unfortunate that some politicians, environmental advocacy groups, and activist scientists are attempting to use this tragedy as a tool for their own agenda, make the claim that the Camp Fire was result of global warming,” Mass wrote.  Mass also criticized President Donald Trump, who blamed the fires on “poor” forest management. While the Camp Fire started on land surrounded by Plumas National Forest, Mass said, it primarily spread over chaparral lands and not forest.

The Camp Fire was likely sparked by faulty power lines and was driven by strong Santa Ana winds, according to Mass. Santa Ana winds are a natural feature of California’s climate, caused by the difference in pressure between the high desert and low-lying coast.

But Mass also addressed one of the most common arguments made by proponents of global warming-induced fires: Rising temperatures are drying out vegetation, turning them into wildfire fuel. “The truth is that California is quite dry during nearly half of the year and that fuels such as grasses, bushes, and small vegetation dry out during any typical summer,” Mass wrote.

California is full of vegetation that dries out in as little as an hour, meaning that even rainfall the previous day wouldn’t do much to stop fuels from becoming fire kindling.

“Thus, they dry very quickly, such as when Diablo winds start to blow,” Mass wrote. “This kind of small diameter fuels is known as chaparral in California, and there was a lot of such ground cover north and east of Paradise.”

The Camp Fire destroyed most of the town of Paradise, displacing about 27,000 people. While the Camp Fire’s cause is still unknown, the utility PG&E reported faulty power lines in locations where the fire is suspected to have first broke out.

“The fuels are plenty dry enough to burn already. That is why the handwaving argument that global warming is contributing to the fires simply don’t make sense,” Mass wrote.

Mass said “the Paradise area was a ticking time bomb” because of the area’s long history of wildfires and the fuel buildup in the region. Mass also said there weren’t adequate warnings for those in the fire’s path.

“There was a huge influx of population into a wildland area, which had burned many times in the past,” Mass wrote. “Previously logging and fires had left a conduit of highly flammable grass and bushes, through which fire could move rapidly. Flammable, non-native invasive grasses had spread through the region.”

“The list is long,” he wrote. “And global warming should not be on the list if we are to focus on the real problems.”

Acosta Restrained : Fellow Reporters Miffed?(Kinda)

Every prison has it's bars to control the inmates, Acosta's bars to restrain him are The White House ethics and moral code of conduct. But when someone like him that attempts to brake out of his prison that has kept him and others within their own bounds of ethics among reporters, consequences are close behind.

Pictured here is one attempt to throttle Mr Acosta. He was told by a judge even he has rules that must be followed. So using this instrument to control his outbreaks of ego and ill-temperament might be a good start, but the truth will be during the next press conference.

Alexandera Cortez Talks Economics : Never Showed Up For Class?

And she has a degree in economic and international relation? I wonder if her  major course requirements included studies in reading and math. I appears the she didn't learn anything while attending class.

I wonder as well what her term papers were like? And even more basic, did she actually attend class? Was this a ''gimme'' like our buddy Barrrack when he went to two universities and nobody ever saw or heard of him in all of his classes.

Very strange. Is it possible that these two bigger then life socialists got their degrees in the mail? But maybe that's why his academic records our under lock and key. There aren't any? And maybe our new Marxist, socialist about town has something to hide as well.

How in the hell did she graduate and talk economics like this? What good reason to vote for transformation of our civil society.

democrats Control The Legislator : democrats Driving The Bus Into The Ditch Again!

The progressive socialist liberal democrats do have an agenda and it's to stop anything that Trump has stated to make America greart again, like the roaring economy. democrats have repeatedly told us they hate Donald Trump and they want to destory him and his program to bring America back into the light of success for all citizens.

Who voted for self destruction? In the face of everything that has gone right over the last two years, why would anyone vote to end our success? Who the hell are these people??? Where have they had their heads for the last two years? Did they enjoy 8 years of decline of  the American dream?

democrats drove the country into near default and personal despair for it's citizens and they want it stay that way. People with no options are more easily duped and controlled when they believe, convinced they no future.

Trump is bringing the citizens the prospect for a good and prosperous future. Making American great again is real.

But the fact is, democrats are dedicated to the fact if Trump is successful, the chances of a democrat victory in November for the presidency in 2020 is dim if not a nonstarter. Citizens doing well and have an uplifted spirit will not likely vote for self destruction.

Little wonder then the democrats are ramping up the hate machine to demonize anything and anyone that has intentions of supporting Donald Trump or his proposals.

This of course means everyone that voted for Trump in 2016, all 62 million of them. The democrats hate them and want them be marginalized, destroyed if possible. The democrats make no bones about their intentions. It is mean, contemptuous and an ethical and moral debauchery of the American dream.

Truly they knowingly and willingly mean to do us all harm just to regain the power for control.

President Trump Confers With The Crown Prince About His Journalist Problems : Meaning What?

Ever wonder where the saying comes from, ''A picture is worth a thousand words'', and a nifty caption that explains something hiden? But at the same time, one has to have some back ground about international news to get the fun here.

Still, this is reminiscent of the joke that Trump used on the campaign debate with Hillary when he said maybe the Russians can find the missing emails that Hillary said were lost. The media took it as an accusation that he knew the Russians actually had the emails. And if the truth be known, they probably do along with a dozen other spy agencies around the world that hacked into Hillary private server.

Apocalypse Now : Society In Flux - Destroying Prosperity for Fun And Profit!

Asked why you are wearing a mask and dressed all in black, smashing store windows and burning cars, and the response was they were told it would be fun and it would make a statement about our society that is so unfair at the same time. Capitalism stealing from the poor and disadvantaged.

And they were right. It all makes so much sense. Destroying the fat-cats and taking their money IS fun and profitable. Oh, and by the way, when will I get paid for my services to the cause of unfairness?
