Barry knows he is poised on the historical moment where he will have a 4th term in office. But all of the bad things that that will happen as freedom slides into darkness he can blame on the current president.
Sure, he will be pulling on the strains to make her dance to his toon as she is totally out of her depth having little or no ability for comprehensive thought, he can make her look like she is in control of the country.
But after the election in 2024 where all the polls said Trump would win but lost at the last minute just like in 2020.
He knew from the beginning the dynamics of how elections are held and processed have changed, it will harder convince the majority of the population that they are not his friend and living hand to mouth will cost him if he doesn't immediately apply the needed pressure while he can to keep them from coming for him.
This is where the new and more formable DOJ, Department of Justice, the FBI and local authorities will be needed to explain the consequences for disobedience.
