Having a Golden around the house as part of the family experience is probably the single most important aspect in the maturation of family members other than the proximity of the mother and father.Maybe, just maybe, even more so! Remember, the Golden is always there and willing to endure any hardship to bring the family together or mentor the children when the parents are gone.
And as we all know, the parents are gone most of the time indulging self. Raising the family is left up to the dog.
