After emerging alive from a nasty tornado that took her and her house away from Kansas, Dorothy and Toto suddenly realizes she is no longer in a safe place, she is in a very dark and dangerous place.
She was soon to understand she has been transported into a land that she could not have envisioned even in one of her best fantasies. She is now in mortal danger of making this trip into the never never land a one-way trip!
No longer can she envision singing and dancing down the brick road with her friends going to see the Wizard that could help her get back home. Instead, she now has to hide from hateful creatures that haunt the streets looking for easy marks to ply their trade of taking everything from everyone!
And worse maybe for poor Dorothy, she final finds, to her disappointment, the Wizard but he is in the capital of this dark empire where he really doesn't really have any magical powers, just a maniacal greed ready to steal as much of everyone belongings and then fly away to a better place to enjoy his spoils leaving behind only the destroyed rubble of the land of dreams.
But what about Dorothy and Toto and her friends? What happened to them? hmmmm - well we'll have to wait for the next chapter that comes out this November.
