Now take a minute and think about this. If you have animals in your life or you don't, but if you have any understanding of what their capabilities actually are in a cognitive sense, and where they fit in the larger mental landscape of understanding a verbal request, you know, hopefully, that they are not capable of being responsive on this level of mental capacity to respond to a language requests.
Animals, for the most part, respond to a repetitive sounds made by outside sources that they can link to a given demand for action.
But to have a bird that can talk is amazing enough, but to have it ASK a question is beyond the pale of human reasoning when it comes to animals and verbal behavior requests.
This is absolutely astounding. But the next question has to be is, what will this bird say next and what other animals will do or "say" in the future?
