George understood what was at stake as he and the others lived the pain and suffering to make this greatest of all experiment of for freedom and liberty to work.
All the signers knew they were in gave danger by standing against an overwhelming power if and when they actually make the plunge into independency by establishing a country away from the control of a super power country who had no idea what the freedom to chose was all about!!!!!
