When pressure to be recognized as someone that is not just a person in the lager scheme of things in a supposed civil society but is not accepted as a legitimate player, stress begins to build. They ask how come!? They don't understand.
They surmise that it might be because they don't look or act like those at the levers of power who gets accepted into the inner circle, then some special measures must be taken to change the minds of those who have decided they aren't ready for prime time.
So, trying to find a way to demonstrating their skills and inner most obsessions for approval and in the most effective way, leaving little or no doubt as to your intentions for being recognized even at the cost of being eliminated permanently as a contestant.
And as with any mentally compromised peson like in New Orleans and acting out in a manner totally unacceptable in the larger society is and was never considered as any other option differently than the one they decided was the best to gain the required recognition.
Society today in general has become so fractured as to isolate some individuals from joining is singularly the most important thing in their lives even to the point where there are no recognized moral or ethical restrictions to what they believe is the best way forward.
Just the end result they believe matters. The ends justify the means!
