Old Joe is headed into a dark pit where no one wants to go. But no matter how hard he tries to stop the inviable, that dark and scary place awaits him, his new and permanent happy basement dwelling where there's no one to fill his sippy cup except Jill and she of course doesn't see the basement as a happy place!
Jill expected better but her ticket to ride got punched too early! Now she weeps in silence as she agonizes over what might have been had Joe not become a nonperson in the collective.
