The problem, of cause is after they've wrecked everything, they didn't know how to fix anything as they never have fixed anything of worth for the nation to prosper, that is way too difficult. Wrecking stuff is easy so that's why the Marxist liberated democraaats were so intent on doing whatever they could to bring down the country.
With the people having no hope for a future they would be controllable.
To build something of worth takes way too long and the results or expectations for success are never guaranteed. To destroy takes only seconds! Everyone understands disasters.
