It seems that maybe there have always been kids that believed they were someone other than who they were but went on with their lives anyway, leaving no trail of personal destruction that changed their lives forever.
So why now? Has the civil society taken a turn in the larger scheme of things that demands you have to be whatever gender you want to be is okay and those that see this as an opportunity to help them achieve their goal are ready to do whatever is needed to help them achieve that goal even when they are so young they don't know what day of the week it is seem counteractive and sinister!

| Really, this is amazing that we, back in the day, we never had any such feelings or knew of any kid that did! Do we live in a world so small that wouldn't something like having a kid in school who wanted to be some other gender couldn't be covered up by the system? |
