Some people find this statement to be nonsense and that any such supposed connections is just a feeling for an animal that depends on you for its existence.
But some people do actually have a predisposed willingness to accept a connection that does link humans and beasts over time, but particularly dogs as we lived in close proximity for hundreds of centuries and gradually changed our adversarial existence, became to depend on each other.
Was it a partnership, no, not at first, but as with most things where the environment in which we live does affect the nature of our being over time, the relationship became a dependence for survival
Can we read each other's minds is crazy thinking, but at some point, when looking to the eyes of another human, we get a certain feeling or connection to that person. I believe it's the same with an animal. It's done without intention but with an ''unthinking'' allowance, an openness to accept the company of the that animal in our most private parts of our lives.
You can't be afraid of what you might or will find out about who and what you are. It's a beautiful thing to know you have a friend who doesn't have any agenda running except to be close to you!
