Back from the edge!! The freedom to choose was the real winner last Tuesday! The problem though is that for many of us, we have short memories. Life and living in a free civil society interferes with what is going on all round us. They are distracted by their work to succeed.
Some see this as an opportunity to succeed faster than others.
But then some of us in this great country are not believers in ''Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness''! They believe they have a much better idea and one that, in the end will benefit the most people when we all work together as a collective, everyone works to make others better off than they could be on their own. Everyone is a winner!
By contributing to the whole, everyone benefits. Everyone has everything they need to succeed. What a great idea! Happiness is having nothing more than anyone else in society. Live and let live! Greed and poverty no long exist!
But the problem that soon arises, not everyone is satisfied with what they have been given. They have never worked for anything of value within the collective. Everything is managed by others. Some want more than their share of the collective's production.
Human nature! Real world dynamics! Some want what others have as well and they are willing to take it by force if necessary!
